Walnut Tree celebrates Year 11
Walton High, Walnut Tree Campus Celebrates Year 11 Success
Today is a proud day for everyone at Walton High's Walnut Tree Campus as we celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students and the culmination of five years of hard work, determination and personal growth.
We are delighted with the success of our students across both GCSE and vocational courses. While some have achieved the very highest grades (56 grade 9’s awarded across the Year group), others have achieved results they never thought possible. Every student has a story to tell, and today we celebrate them all.
Although exam results open doors to future opportunities, we know that the true measure of success goes far beyond a results slip. During their time with us, our students have challenged themselves in countless ways, whether through completing the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, performing at The Venue, creating incredible artwork, representing the school in sport, taking on student leadership roles and supporting one another, or simply growing into confident, resilient and thoughtful young people.
We would also like to thank our dedicated staff, who have supported and encouraged our students throughout their journey, and our parents and carers, whose partnership and support have been invaluable. This is a success that belongs to our whole school community.
We look forward to welcoming many of our students back to our Post 16 provision (enrolment has been very busy this morning) and supporting them as they continue to Belong, Learn and Achieve.
If any student has questions about their next steps please don’t hesitate to contact us for support. Whatever their next steps, we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see what the future holds for them.
